Do Nuby products contain harmful materials?

Luv n’ care® specifies to our manufacturers/suppliers that they are only allowed to use plastics, color pigments and inks that do not contain BPA, Phthalates, or other suspected harmful chemicals in manufacturing Nuby products. In addition, our products meet all governmental regulations including FDA, CPSC, CPSIA and European standards/regulations.

What is the difference between nipple, spout, and straw?

As your child develops, their needs change. That's why we have developed an extensive line of products that change with your child. At birth your baby begins with a nipple because nipples require the least amount of suction. When they are strong enough and can produce enough suction (usually around 6 months) your baby can progress to drinking from a spout. Once they have become accustomed to drinking from a spout, they are ready for a straw (usually between 9 and 12 months, depending on the type of straw). 

Because most of our nipples, spouts and straws are made from the same soft and durable silicone, your child will find each new stage similar to the previous. This familiarity makes the transition easier. Please note that the months you find on our packaging and on our website are only suggestions. Every child develops at their own pace. If your baby does not appear to be ready to make the transition, it's OK. Keep encouraging them, but don't force it.

What is your return policy?

We can only exchange or accept back unopened and undamaged products. Simply mail your unopened, undamaged items to:

Include a note requesting a refund, along with your order #, and once we receive the items, we will provide your refund. If you have any questions, please email us at orders@nuby.com or call 1-800-825-2399.

I ordered the wrong replacement parts. Can I return them?

Yes, however, we can only exchange or accept back UNOPENED replacement parts. Please compare what you receive to the original(s) before opening, to be sure they match. Be mindful of dimensions, not just the look of the spouts.  Some are almost identical except for their dimensions.

My item arrived damaged. Can I return it?

In the unlikely event that you have a defective product, you have the right to return it within the Return Guarantee period. Please keep all the packaging materials, accessories and warranty information that accompanies your product as this may be needed should there be a fault. We do not replace items due to biting, chewing, or customer wear and tear.

What is BPA?

Over the past few years there have been a significant amount of media reports focusing on Bisphenol A (BPA) found in baby bottles and other polycarbonate feeding equipment. Polycarbonate is used in thousands of consumer products worldwide and has been the most widely used raw material on baby bottles for many years. There are many scientific studies that have been carried out, and while we believe that BPA levels in plastic polycarbonate bottles are below the levels known to be harmful, we have decided to remove BPA from all our Newborn feeding equipment to ELIMINATE ANY RISK or DOUBT and offer parents the SAFEST option.

What can I do if I can’t find the replacement part I’m looking for?

There are a few cups we do not have parts for. There are also replacement parts that are extremely similar to others, so it is always recommended that you contact us if you are not sure which you need. Please email us at orders@nuby.com or call 1-800-825-2399.

Do you offer free samples or discount codes?

While we don't provide free samples, we do offer various opportunities throughout the year for parents to trial our products in exchange for an honest review. Follow us on Facebook to learn more as these opportunities arise.
