Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and imaginative Infant Products Copywriter to join our creative team. As a Infant Products Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting captivating and child-friendly copy that brings our products to life and engages young audiences. Your writing will directly impact how these products are presented to consumers, influencing their purchasing decisions and overall brand perception. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to craft engaging product descriptions, packaging content, blog posts, and other written materials that resonate with parents and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Copywriting:

  • Develop fun, playful, and age-appropriate copy for packaging, including product names, taglines, instructions, and promotional messages.
  • Create engaging stories and characters that enhance the product's identity and encourage imaginative play.
  • Highlight the key features, benefits, and functionalities of the products to inform and entice potential buyers.

Packaging Content:

  • Develop content for packaging materials that effectively communicates product details, usage instructions, safety information, and brand messaging.
  • Ensure the content is user-friendly, easy to understand, and visually appealing.

Product Knowledge:

  • Gain a deep understanding of each product's features, benefits, and unique selling points in order to highlight them effectively in the copy.
  • Translate technical specifications into engaging, child-friendly descriptions.

Audience Connection:

  • Understand the target audience's preferences, interests, and cognitive development stages to create copy that resonates with children and parents alike.
  • Craft copy that communicates the educational and entertainment value of each product.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the design team to integrate copy seamlessly with visual elements, ensuring a cohesive and enticing packaging design.
  • Collaborate with marketers to align messaging with overall brand strategies.

Simplicity and Clarity:

  • Break down complex concepts and instructions into simple, easy-to-understand language.
  • Ensure that safety information and assembly instructions are clearly communicated.

Proofreading and Accuracy:

  • Thoroughly proofread all copy to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, and appropriate language for the intended age group.
  • Edit and revise packaging copy to improve clarity and coherence.

Research and Trend Analysis:

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, innovations, and developments in the infant products industry.
  • Incorporate relevant trends and insights into your writing to keep the content fresh and appealing.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure that all content accurately reflects safety guidelines, product regulations, and legal requirements related to infant products.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in copywriting, particularly for infant's products or content.
  • Strong creative flair and the ability to think like a child while maintaining clarity and coherence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in crafting engaging stories and characters.
  • Familiarity with child development stages and interests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,294.04 - $36,483.14 per year
